Delighted that this piece has gone through the second round of judging and will be exhibited next month at the Mall Galleries at the Royal British society of Artists 303rd Annual Exhibition 2020
Delivered this sculpture today to the Mall Galleries for the second round of judging for the ‘Royal British Society of Artists’ Exhibition next month. This sculpture was made concerning the flight of refugees across the world. The bird-like forms face each other in an encounter. The faceless form on the left focuses on how individuals lose their identity as a result of displacement, yet the two forms relate to each other face to face in their shared upheaval.
Had a lovely weekend at the Chester Arts Fair where this year’s Visual Arts Open was also being held – absolutely delighted to have won the Sculpture Award yesterday with these three pieces: Blessing, Core and Testimony
