RWA – Royal West of England Academy Annual Open Exhibition 2025

I am really thrilled to have my sculpture Dawn selected for this year’s Open Exhibition at the RWA in Bristol. The exhibition will run until 28th December 2025. On Friday the 5th September I thoroughly enjoyed the Varnishing Day, catching up with a couple of artists and seeing the rest of this fabulous exhibition. I am now looking forward to the rescheduled Private View on Friday October 10th; it should be a good evening!

BSA – Bath Society of Artists’ Annual Open Exhibition 2025

I am also delighted to have my two sculptures Ascent and Blade selected for this year’s Open Exhibition at The Victoria Art Gallery in Bath. The exhibition will run from 18th October until 10th January 2026. Looking forward to delivering them both on Saturday 11th October!

In the studio, Nicola is now working solely in wood, exploring textures and architectural features found in old ruins; at the moment she is working on some larger wood pieces which stand as absorbing isolated forms, alongside groups of tall wood carvings focusing on environments of peace and stillness.  Her latest trio of tall Oak sculptures (Vessels) are made as an installation for the interior of a church, with the texture of flowing water carving a channel down through the centre of each abstract figure.
