RWA – Royal West of England Academy Annual Open Exhibition 2025
Thrilled to have my sculpture Dawn selected for this year’s Open Exhibition at the RWA in Bristol. The exhibition will run until 28th December 2025. On Friday the 5th September I thoroughly enjoyed the Varnishing Day, catching up with a couple of artists and seeing the rest of this fabulous exhibition.
In the Studio
In the studio, all of my work is now made in wood, mainly exploring textures and architectural features found in old ruins; at the moment I’m working on some larger wood pieces which stand as absorbing isolated forms, alongside groups of tall wood carvings focusing on environments of peace and stillness. My latest trio of tall Oak sculptures (Living Waters) are made as an installation for the interior of a church, with the texture of flowing water carving a channel down through the centre of each abstract figure.

Wells Contemporary Exhibition 2024
Delighted to have my sculpture Solitude accepted for the Wells Contemporary this year! Very exciting as it is a truly wonderful location. There were so many fabulous installations in the cathedral and a large number of paintings and sculptures in the cloisters. Solitude is on show in the cloisters – a very inspiring Preview evening where I met a few familiar faces!
